Gram Unnayan Sangstha’s activities are realized by financial and material supports from high minded individuals and donor agencies from home and abroad. Therefore, Gram Unnayan Sangstha expresses its sincere gratitude to its valued donors as their contributions enable it to implement various development activities and projects to mitigate the sufferings of the distressed people. Despite tangible steps taken by the government and NGOs in eradicating hopeless poverty, still poverty continues to be a major challenge in Bangladesh. Scarcity of resources hampers GUS’s efforts to provide necessary support to the target people. With one’s small contribution, Gram Unnayan Sangstha can make a big step in poverty alleviation and social development and promotion of tolerance in the society.
Therefore, a fervent humanitarian appeal is made to the well-to-do people of the society to come forward to support GUS activities. Zakat, sadaqah, or other donations can contribute to relieve the sufferings of the poor people in Bangladesh.
